Summary:
The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for the group.
- Develops and maintains financial models for various business units and projects.
- Analyzes financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
- Supports the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Conducts periodic audits of budget items to actual expenses
- Prepares capital expenditure budgets and forecasts
- Analyzes performance of business verticals and product lines for profitability
- Prepares ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Assists in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Builds business metrics and dashboards
- Continuously improves financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepares financial reports for senior leadership and Board.
- Performs other related duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
