Job Summary — The Service Scheduler will work with the Field Service team to ensure services and installations are scheduled proactively and all changes are updated timely. This role will require thorough understanding of scheduling best practices and effective resource management. This role will coordinate with internal teams as well as customers to ensure all work orders effectively prepare our technicians for success in the field, and result in customer satisfaction.

The Service Scheduler is responsible and accountable for:
  • Scheduling all internal work orders for service and installation
  • Updating the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) with all close out information for work orders
  • Coordinating resolutions to scheduling and resource management conflicts with the assistance of the Field Service Manager
  • Creating work orders for new customer services
  • Confirming work orders have all necessary information to include receiving’s, scope, and updated contact information
  • Maintaining effective progress tracking on all in progress work orders
  • Picking required materials for work orders from staged locations in the warehouse and coordinating with pre-installation personnel
  • Sending daily communication and updates on scheduled and completed work orders
  • Receive inbound communication (email, text, and phone calls) from internal teams, contractors, and end user customers
Essential Functions:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of resource management and scheduling
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft operating system
  • Multi-tasking multiple projects simultaneously
  • Own and manage the schedule
Experience & Other Requirements:
  • Clean driving record
  • Clear communication, active listening skills
  • Pre-employment background/drug screening
  • Dispatcher/scheduling experience preferred
  • Prior construction and customer service experience a plus
